Born and raised on Haida Gwaii, Isabelle feels grateful to return home and practice within the community that shaped her. Isabelle is completing her practicum through Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy Institute and works from a holistic, person-centred approach. She meets individuals where they are, honouring all aspects of their life - emotional, physical, cultural, and spiritual - while supporting them working towards their goals. She embraces the practice of Two-Eyed Seeing, bringing together Indigenous and Western ways of knowing to provide care that is collaborative, respectful, and inclusive. Art therapy is about expression, not perfection. No previous art experience is needed - just openness and curiosity. Isabelle hopes to create a safe and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves freely and fully.
